Ashley Burgess-Payne talks to family law expert Sharon Micuta about 'no fault divorce' A new bill has received Royal Assent so that in future separating couples will no longer need to apportion blame for the breakdown of marriage. Originally it was envisaged that by Autumn 2021 the new law will come into effect, however it has now been confirmed that it will come into effect in April 2022.
