When did you last go through your bank statement or for that matter your credit card bills? Since they are now all online to save the planet and cut the costs of the banks and credit card companies we do not get a monthly reminder of where our money goes. New year is a time to check that what we are spending automatically is what we can afford and feel is value for money.
